You think that you are good at it.... You have practiced....You have the right gear...You have the right technique...Now prove it!

One of our events during the SERA Cave Carnival will be a Blind Climbing Contest. For this competition, climbers will be blindfolded and starting with climbing gear and helmet in a stuff bag. They will have to don their climbing gear and safely climb 15 feet up a rope utilizing a climbing system with at least two attachment points from the harness to the rope. Don't worry, you don't have to do a changeover.

The competition will be judged on speed and safety and will take place at the SERA Cave Carnival from 10a.m. - 2 p.m. adjacent to the rope climbing contest. Just look for the people with vertical gear wandering around in the woods.

Just a reminder that the Cuddingtons will be running the rope climbing contest on Saturday from 10a.m. - 2 p.m. and there will be a Small Group Rescue Workshop at 2 p.m. led by Tim White and Bill Putnam.
